Notice to NB Housing Tenants

Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The association is implementing emergency measures to restrict the spread of the virus and to protect employees.

All public reception areas in our offices in Flax Street and Crumlin Road will close from noon today 18th March 2020 until further notice. Staff will still be working from these offices and can be contacted by telephone on either of the numbers below:

We are unable to carry out home visits.

If you have an emergency repair please contact the Crumlin Road office. When reporting the repair our staff will ask you some additional questions relating to your health, whether you are self-isolating, suffering from a new persistent cough, or have a temperature. This information will inform our response and allow us to risk assess the works.

If you pay your rent at the office you should contact the Flax Street office and ask to speak to their housing officer, who will be able to provide advice on other payment options. If you are facing financial hardship as a result of the virus, for example, lost employment, reduced working hours and on sick leave you are advised to speak to your housing officer. We will be sensitive to your needs.

As of the 16th March all routine appointments at local Jobs & Benefits Offices have been postponed. Benefits should be continued as normal. For further information relating to emergency arrangements for benefits, making a new claim can be found at the link below.
